What is Hangul?

Hangul (ν•œκΈ€) is the Korean alphabet, created in 1443 by King Sejong the Great. The letter shapes represent mouth and tongue positions, making it one of the most logical alphabets ever designed.

Why "Blocks"?

Korean letters stack into square blocks. γ…Ž (h) + ㅏ (a) + γ„΄ (n) = ν•œ (han). Once you get this, reading Korean is like assembling LEGO.
